Sergey Ilchenko

Sergey Ilchenko joined Wermuth Asset Management in 2008 as the Head of Risk and Back Office and in February 2011, became a Portfolio Adviser in the Quant Fund Department. Prior to WAM, Sergey had work experience in programming, database tracking and IT development. He graduated  with  honors from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology with a BS in mathematics (received a diploma with distinction) and holds a Master’s degree in economics from the New Economic School (Moscow).  Sergey is a CFA Level 3 candidate and a CAIA level 1 candidate.

Yury Roslavlev joined WAM in August 2009 as the co-Portfolio Advisor to Wermuth US Long Short Fund and Wermuth Eastern Europe Long Short Fund, two trend-following quant funds. Prior to joining WAM, he worked as an independent Quant Portfolio Advisor together with Tikhon Moiseev and consulted top Russian finance companies such as Aton, BCS, Uniastrum Bank, Zerich capital management and more than 50 private investors from around the world (US, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Italy, Spain, Russia). In September 2010, Mr. Roslavlev successfully passed Level I of the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA). Mr. Roslavlev received a Diploma (with distinction) in Applied Mathematics (Probability and Statistics) from the Moscow State University, passed Ph.D. exams in Applied Mathematics and is currently working on his thesis.
